NATIONAL EPIDURAL NETWORK
INTERESTED IN JOINING THE NETWORK?
With over one million hernia repairs performed annually, hernia injuries have become more common across the country. AWC developed the National Hernia Network as an association of hernia specialist throughout the state of Georgia, specializing in laparoscopic mesh hernia repairs. As a solution to a growing issue, AWC hand-selected a group of general surgeons to provide patients with the highest level of service and quality outcomes while reducing the average cost of repair by 25% - 30%. Each surgeon is licensed and certified with the American Board of Surgery and the American Hernia Society.
The Hernia Network provides safe, effective procedures performed by surgeons that understand workers’ compensation and personal liability guidelines and documentation requirements. A dedicated Network Specialist will handle the hernia case from beginning to end, including appointments, consultations, reports, billing and follow-up. We proudly offer a Lifetime Warranty on all hernia repairs – any recurrent hernia surgery is free!

A new component to our Specialty Network are Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC’s). ASC’s are facilities where surgeries that do not require hospital admission are performed. ASC's are a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the same services offered in a hospital setting. AWC’s scheduling coordinators receive preferential treatment, encouraging quick and easy appointments.
Patients who choose to have surgery in an ASC arrive on the day of their procedure, have their surgery in a fully equipped operating room and recover under the care of our highly skilled team of providers, all without hospital admission. Whether they are young or old or somewhere in between, patients and their families benefit from the comfortable environment our network of ASC's offer.
